Staff Positions Assigned, Need more!

This is the Next Generation of DFWorld and most of you who know me can count on my dedication to bringing the noise and fun. This time I am doing it different. This time it's a coop as all of us are owners of the site, but shares, interests and revenue will be put towards prizes, but I will explain more in my plan that I will publish in the next few days.

We will need help, staff that is, and lots of it. I know many of us moved on grew old and tired, but we are DFW fans, old and new, and we all have that part of our lives forever. I lost a lot during the after math of DFW, but hey that's life and I am stronger, wiser and yes, older too.

For starters we will need and I will not list the plan here;



Director (Shrike)
Site Mods (Jinks, NighEve)
Hosts (sneaky, and need 2 or 3 more servers up 24/7 as DFWorld.info and for tourneys)
Coders (Francis and one more "php and html guru")
Graphic Guru (Need at least one here)
Tourney Managers (crazydevil, method and sneaky)
Market Team to bring in new and old fans (Need one or two here still)
Sponsors (Francis has one and working on one more)
Map makers for the new games (Jinks and could use one more)
Fun!!!!
This is what made DFW a success. It takes more than one person to make anything in life successful.

It's not about money, it's about old friends and making new ones. If we get a windfall of money, you know I share, and those who were at the AODFEST know this.

Old, but good looking :) The plan will really be something I should have done back in the day. I spent on average 10 hours a day for over 2 years managing DFW.

I have been making maps since DF1 but my favorite games for making maps was DF2 and BHD. I have already started the marketing thing I guess but people will come back from word of mouth and because they know what DFWorld was and what it could be again.

I live with CD, so I'm more than willing to help out wherever it's needed. We could be beneficial because we have the ability to communicate in person which always helps when trying to manage a tournament.

Not usrre if you are aware, but my previous job we used logmein to remote into computers anywhere in the world. It's free and you can gain full control over that computer.

Logmein is a good remote program. Gen Halftrack and I have used it for diffent things in the past.

Also, I am working on another pc for hosting and changing my router from Netgear to Linksys. If everything works out I will be able to host after the new games are released.

Bad thing is, when I remote into the computer, DF1 is windowed and black. Can't see a thing. I don't know if there is a way to get it to show or not, but yea, it is working quite well.

Hello, I'm returning to the DF series and would love to get back into the community. I would be willing to spend time marketing, moderating the forums, and eventually hosting. I've a fairly decent computer and will have no problem hosting any of the upcoming DF games, and once I re-buy all the old DF games, I would gladly host for those.
