Is DFWorld contemplating running any tourneys? We have been able to port over DF1 DF2 and LW maps to the game and tourneys played with those old maps would be amazing. I have a feeling a lot of old schoolers would enjoy it if they sucked up their pride and gave it a shot. I will admit I despised the game the first two days I played. However it grew on me, dam it was nice shooting someone at 500+m again(500m is like 1000m in the old ones). It has the feel of the old games. With the old maps it is actually pretty enjoyable, they are really well done. (No the game is not the best gfx etc.) Who cares, its the style of game play, no other FPS shooter has ever been similar for the type of long range gunning that use to go down DF.

Nevertheless I would be willing to post a file of the maps and people here could select some between the three games and come up with ones for tourneys if interested.

when you buy the game you get gold i dont know how long it lasts then you get silver... i dont honestly know what the difference is, you can still play with silver.

gambit i purchased the game like end of may first of june i think, and it said i would have a 30 day gold membership. well my30 days are past due and i still have gold membership... all gold membership means is that you are able to play in the vehicle infested novalogic shit ass maps. wth happened to this company df1-tfd were open terraine style maps, 50% of maps in bhd were cqb style and 50% open terraine, JO who gives a flying fuck about that game, never bought nor do i care to... dfx remake of df1 maps just a very unbalanced game, dfx2 has potential more than just 1-2 primary weapons.... but the maps are made by retard who are either 30 years old or babies whose nuts havent dropped yet, but i am leaning towards retarded 30 year olds

nah im Gambit from DF1...played in nonupdated for a long time back in '98 before i made the switch to update...never really played DF2 just messed around a couple times...guess im kinda an oldschooler but that was mainly with nonupdate not really known among the oldschool guys from update

Nova has extended the Gold memberships for those that buy the game to 3 months. Thats why you still have a Gold membership.
