How many of you plan to pick this up? And is DFW going to have tournaments and stuff for it? Or are most people going to wait for Angel Falls?

Hey Faulk,
That will be decided soon and will require some help as we build back this site like the old days. I am working towards the launch of our new site and will decide on what and when we will run POTW's and Tourneys.

I will be getting both. I have all the other Nova fps games so I figured I should have these two also. :D

You and me both and I hope the netcode isn't bandwidth hungry like Battlefield.

I played DFX for awhile when it was first released. DFX2 should be somewhere around the same when it's released. I had no problems running a server or just playing. From what I hear, bandwidth really shouldn't be a problem with these games.

My cable runs around 10 mb down and between 1.5 and 2.0 up depending on what time of day it is.

That is perfect and just what the doctor ordered! Back in the day it was 2 down and 1.2 up. This day and age is so much better!

i dont think ill be picking up X2. I dont have any interest in PC gaming anymore. After DF folded, i couldnt really find anything else to get into, and stick with, so i quit upgrading my pc. I might check out Angel Falls though on console.

Well, I have been playing all the Delta Force games since they came out, and been a whole lot on TFD and BHD.. Those game should be of interest, and if your a NOVA fan, you deff should spent the low money just to have them in your collection :D I run 20 mbit down, and 512 kbit up, so I think I stick with joining and hosting scrims :p

Sandman, you might still be able to play DF1 and DF2 even if Nova shut down there servers. It's possible that maybe DFFavorites will still function and maybe if we find someone to take a look at it, then maybe we can get it to create our own area so DF1 and DF2 will still be workable again.
DFFavorites created a new world that listed any and all servers just like Novalogic did. Deadbolt did that on purpose so in case Novalogic's system ever closed or went down, players would still be able to find and join servers.

DFFavs still works for DF2. Only problem is that you will only find anywhere from 45 - 65 people online on any day. I just recently uninstalled DF2 and DFFavs just because of that. Most servers are S&D and A&D.
