Yea i dunno if you guys all kept your discs still but i thank god daily for mp3's becuase i cant keep any cd for longer than a month... maybe two. Even if i could i have moved enough times to not have the slightest idea where my DF1 cd would be. POINT OF THREAD. I re-bought DF1 for 95 cents at Amazon.com, had to pay like 3-4 dollars shipping but even still, thats fkn awesome. Anyone who doesnt have it i would recommend looking there, can't imagine you would be able to find it cheaper.

Give it another year or maybe 2, DF1 will be right along all the old dos games. Simply search for it and download it.

Or another option is to ask around this place and I am sure someone will zip the CD up or make a ISO of it and put it up for download.

There is already a few people doing that right now.

I know I have a ISO image of a delta force 2 cd ready for download for those that want to play that. Maybe other games will fallow.

yea, newer games that need STEAM or trash like that won't ever go this way as DF1... they'll disappear in history.. DF1 though, will ever remain as the oldschool fps game!

Anyone want to buy my DF2, DFLW, DFTFD, BHD, BHD-TS , DFX, JO Typhoon Rising, JO Escalation CD's. I would give you my DF1 If I could find it.

I also have BF1942, BFV, BF2(never used), MOH:AA, SOF2, HL, CSS, R6-RS, COD(never used), OFP.

CS living just as long as DF; and still on the rise again;, was released few years later.

So that theory is out the window :/

CSS is alive and well also...always hundreds of good servers up.
