First Contest (DFWorld Banner)

In anticipation of the launch of our homepage, I am going to run our first contest.

Contest: Design the DFWorld header banner.
Dimensions: 980x100
Format: PNG

Don't use the domain extension .info in the banner just DFWorld.

Contest starts now and will end on February 20th.

All entries must be emailed to boscony@yahoo.com

Who will vote?

We will conduct a poll and have the members vote for the best banner. The poll will run for 24 hours.

Prize: $25 cash via Paypal or check.

Any reason your limited to 80 high? Would look pretty cool if it was a bit bigger.

980 x 120 is a more workable size, can add better detail then.

Do you need the psd and any fonts used sent with the entry?

100 would do fine and I will change it. 120 to me is too tall. Welcome to DFW!

Yep! I think that should be perfect. I just want to avoid having a huge header banner which takes away from the real estate.

Lol..Don`t take this as a gripe,but I`ve got to point out that....
It looks as though you`ve already started voting!....Or are you just pointing the membership toward your own preference?
I`ve just finished another attempt but I think I`ll pass on any further involvment....
If your going to hold a contest at least try to make it an unbiased affair...Thanks.

Try to attach your banners so they don't mess up the width.
